Sound Divers was founded in 1994 by Jeff Griffin and Dave Sienko and is based in Bellingham, Washington and serves all of Whatcom County. Rob Carr joined Sound Divers in 2006 to serve Blaine & Semiahmoo. Rob Carr left Sound Divers in 2010 and moved to the Arizona. In 2018 Sound Divers was sold to Ty Campbell, after apprenticing with Dave Sienko.
Ty Campbell is a skilled diver, mariner and native of the Pacific Northwest currently residing in Bellingham, Washington. He prides himself in providing the utmost of quality in our services.
We are licensed by the Port of Bellingham and registered with the state Department of Ecology.
We use soft brushes and pads to clean hulls and course pads to clean propellers and shafts. We also use plastic scrappers to clean muscles and barnacles from shafts and struts (the use of metal scrapers can cause galvanic corrosion). We sell and replace zincs and propellers in the water. Sound Divers also specializes in Underwater Surveys, including still and video photography, as well as dock and buoy maintenance. And of course you can always count on us for light salvage.
